Terms & Conditions

1. About us

Noir & Velvet ("we", "us", "our", "the Agency") is a private adult entertainment agency based in Bournemouth, Dorset, providing discreet, high-class entertainment — including professional adult dancers and hosts — for stag parties, hen parties, birthdays, corporate hospitality and private events across London, the South and South West of England. By submitting an enquiry, placing a booking or attending an event arranged by us, you ("the Client", "the Booker" or, as a guest, "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between you and the Agency.

These terms apply to the exclusion of any other terms that the Client seeks to impose or incorporate, or which are implied by trade, custom, practice or course of dealing. We may amend these terms from time to time; the version in force at the date your booking is confirmed in writing is the version that applies to that booking.

2. Strictly 18+

Our services are strictly intended for adults aged 18 years or over. By making a booking you warrant that you, every guest and every other person who will be present at the venue during the performance is aged 18 or over. We reserve the absolute right to request government-issued photo ID on arrival from the Booker and any guest, and to refuse to begin, pause or immediately terminate a booking — without refund — if any person present cannot be verified as 18+, if any minor is discovered on the premises, or if there is any reasonable suspicion that the environment is not appropriate for adult performance.

The Booker is solely responsible for ensuring that the venue is private, lawful for adult entertainment, and free from anyone under the age of 18 for the entire duration of the performance.

3. Bookings & confirmation

All bookings submitted through this site, by email, phone or messaging service are treated as enquiries only until expressly confirmed by us in writing (email is sufficient). A booking is only legally formed and reserved in our diary once (a) we have issued a written confirmation specifying the date, time, location, performers and fee, and (b) we have received the required deposit in cleared funds. Until both conditions are met, no date is held and we may accept alternative bookings for the same slot.

We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our sole discretion, without giving reasons. We may also, in our discretion, request additional information about the Booker, the venue or the nature of the event prior to confirming any booking. Any quotation we provide is valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated and is subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Changes to a confirmed booking (date, time, location, line-up or guest numbers) are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee and/or a revised quotation. We will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate changes but are under no obligation to do so.

4. Payment, deposits & cancellation

A non-refundable deposit, typically between 25% and 50% of the total fee, is required to secure your date. The balance is payable in cleared funds prior to the start of the performance, by bank transfer or such other method as we may agree in writing. Cash, where accepted, must be presented to the lead performer or producer on arrival in a sealed envelope and counted in private.

Cancellation by the Client. Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply, calculated against the total booking fee: more than 28 days before the event — deposit forfeit only; 14 to 28 days — 50% of the total fee; 7 to 14 days — 75% of the total fee; less than 7 days, no-show, or cancellation on the day — 100% of the total fee. The Booker remains liable for any travel, accommodation or third-party costs already incurred on their behalf.

Cancellation by the Agency. In the unlikely event we have to cancel due to circumstances within our control, we will refund all sums paid in full, or offer a mutually convenient alternative date. Our liability in such circumstances is limited to the sums paid.

Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including (without limitation) severe weather, transport failure, illness or injury of a performer, public health restrictions, civil unrest or acts of public authority. Where we are unable to attend due to force majeure, we will use reasonable endeavours to offer a substitute performer or an alternative date; refunds in such cases are at our discretion.

Additional time, travel and expenses. Performances run for the time slot booked. Additional time, if available, is charged at our then-prevailing hourly rate, payable on the night. Travel beyond a 30-mile radius of Bournemouth, congestion or low-emission zone charges, parking, ferry crossings and overnight accommodation (where required) are billed at cost and confirmed in advance.

5. Conduct & performer welfare

Our performers are professional artists, not escorts. There is a strict no-touching policy unless invited by the individual performer as part of a specific choreographed routine, and any such invitation is limited to the act performed. The following conduct is not tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the booking without refund: any unwanted physical contact; any sexually coercive, threatening, intimidating, abusive, discriminatory or violent behaviour; any attempt to remove a performer's costume; the offering or solicitation of sexual services; any unauthorised photography or recording; or the presence of weapons, illegal drugs or any person visibly incapable of giving consent due to intoxication.

The Booker is responsible for the conduct of every guest and any other person at the venue for the duration of the performance, and indemnifies the Agency and its performers against any loss, damage, injury or claim arising from such conduct. Our lead performer or producer has absolute discretion to pause, shorten or terminate a performance on welfare or safety grounds, and any such decision will not entitle the Booker to a refund.

Where appropriate, we may require the presence of a security professional, doorman or chaperone at the venue, the cost of which is borne by the Booker.

6. Venue & safety

The Booker warrants that the venue is private, lawful and suitable for adult entertainment, and that any necessary permissions (from owners, landlords, hotel management, licensing authorities or any other relevant party) have been obtained in advance. The venue must provide: a clean, dry and clearly defined performance area of at least 3m x 3m; a stable, level floor free from broken glass, spilled liquids, candles, fire pits or other hazards; a secure, private and lockable changing area with a mirror and access to a clean WC; reasonable heating; controllable lighting; a clear and unobstructed access route from the entrance to the changing area; and safe, legal parking close to the venue.

Performances are not permitted in public places, in any venue without the owner's consent, in any venue licensed in a way that prohibits adult performance, or in any environment our team considers — at their sole discretion — unsafe, unsanitary or unsuitable. In such cases we reserve the right to refuse to perform and to retain the full fee.

The Booker is responsible for any damage caused to the venue by guests during the performance. The Agency is not liable for any loss or damage to venue property, fixtures or fittings save where caused by our negligence.

7. Photography & recording

No photography, filming, screen-grabbing, streaming or audio recording of any performer is permitted at any time, by any device, without that performer's prior written consent. All mobile phones, smartwatches, smart glasses and cameras must be put away during the performance. Any breach will result in immediate termination of the booking without refund, the requirement that all such material be deleted in front of our team, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action under data protection, image rights and harassment law.

Where consensual group photographs are agreed in advance, they will be taken by our team or under our team's supervision, and may not be posted publicly online or shared on social media without the express written consent of every performer pictured.

8. Discretion & confidentiality

We treat every booking with the utmost discretion. We will not disclose the identity of the Booker, the location of the event, the line-up or any other details to any third party other than (a) the specific performers and producers assigned to the booking, (b) where we are required to do so by law, or (c) where disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our team. In return, the Booker and all guests agree to treat the identities, stage names and personal details of our performers as strictly confidential, and not to publish, share or discuss them publicly in a way that could identify the individual outside of their stage persona.

9. Substitutions

Specific performers are booked subject to availability. In the event a booked performer is unable to attend due to illness, injury, transport failure or other reason beyond our control, we reserve the right to provide a substitute performer of equivalent standing and standard. We will notify the Booker as soon as reasonably practicable. No refund or reduction in fee is payable on account of such substitution.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to the Client in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with any booking, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client for that booking. We shall have no liability for: (a) any indirect, special or consequential loss; (b) loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings; (c) any loss arising from the conduct of guests or third parties; or (d) any loss arising from the Booker's breach of these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

The Booker shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Agency, its officers, employees and performers against all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) arising from any breach of these terms by the Booker or any guest, or from the conduct of any guest at the event.

11. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you must raise your concern in writing to bookings@noirvelvet.co within 7 days of the event, providing full details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 21 days. Complaints raised verbally on the night, or after the 7-day window, may not be considered.

12. Intellectual property

All choreography, costumes, music selections, branding, stage names, photographs and written material associated with the Agency and its performers remain the intellectual property of the Agency or the relevant performer. No licence to use, reproduce or adapt such material is granted by the making of a booking.

13. Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These terms, together with the written booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the booking and supersede all prior discussions, representations and arrangements.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms, or to raise a complaint or exercise any right under them, please contact: bookings@noirvelvet.co. We aim to respond to all written enquiries within 3 working days.
