Themed acts, costume requests and surprise reveals are arranged in advance and rehearsed with the same care as any private commission.
We work regularly with hotels, private members' clubs, country estates, yachts and chartered venues throughout the South West, Hampshire, Dorset and the Home Counties. Travel beyond our usual catchment — Bristol, Bath, Exeter and across to Brighton and the Cotswolds — is arranged on request, and our team handles arrival, dressing, set-up and a clean, unobtrusive departure so the night flows without a single seam showing.

Noir & Velvet stages birthday soirées for private clients across London, Bournemouth and the South of England: intimate, elegant evenings where the entertainment feels woven into the night rather than dropped on top of it. Whether you are marking a thirtieth, a fortieth, a fiftieth, or a quiet milestone the guest of honour would rather not name aloud, every booking is shaped around the room and the person at the centre of it.
Our professional adult dancers and hosts arrive in keeping with the tone of the evening — black-tie, cocktail, themed or deliberately understated — and perform with the polish you would expect of a private commission. From champagne arrival acts and cake reveal performances to longer, choreographed sets in the latter part of the evening, we curate the running order with you in advance so the night unfolds at its own pace. Nothing is unannounced; nothing is left to chance.
We are equally at home in a Soho townhouse, a private dining room above the Thames, a clifftop home on the Sandbanks peninsula or a country house party in Wiltshire or the Cotswolds. Birthday bookings across the South West — Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Salisbury — are a regular part of our calendar, and we travel further afield by arrangement. Our team coordinates discreetly with the host and, where relevant, with venue staff so the surprise lands exactly as planned.

Corporate, anniversaries, VIP nights.
Some evenings are not advertised. They are arranged quietly, between trusted parties, and judged by how completely the outside world is kept on the other side of the door. Noir & Velvet produces private events of exactly this kind across London, Bournemouth and the South of England — closed corporate nights, anniversaries, divorce parties, members' suites and bespoke VIP commissions where discretion is not a courtesy but a condition of the booking.
Every engagement begins with a confidential conversation. We discuss the venue, the guest list, the tone, the limits — and only then propose a programme. From there our producers build the evening end to end: performance design, casting of dancers and hosts, on-site coordination, dressing and changeover, arrivals and departures. Identifying details of clients are never recorded beyond what is operationally necessary.
We work in private homes, hotel suites, members' clubs, chartered yachts and corporate venues throughout London, the South West and the South coast. Regular routes include Mayfair, Knightsbridge and the City; Bournemouth, Poole and Sandbanks; Bristol, Bath and the wider South West; and discreet country estates across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. Travel beyond these areas is arranged on request, with on-site coordination by our own team rather than venue contractors.

A night the bride won't stop talking about.
A hen party should feel like the bride's circle drawn a little closer — glamorous, a little mischievous, and entirely on her terms. Noir & Velvet arranges hen do entertainment across London, Bournemouth and the South of England, from cheeky butler-style hosts at a Friday afternoon arrival to full burlesque shows after dinner. Every booking is built around the bride: her sense of humour, her tolerance for surprises, and the particular friends who will be in the room with her.
Our professional dancers and hospitality hosts work the evening as performers and as quiet hosts — pouring champagne, leading toasts, choreographing the cake moment, then stepping into a properly produced show when the time is right. We can scale from a single performer for an intimate dinner of six to a full company for a country-house weekend, and we tailor the wardrobe, music and choreography to the brief you provide in advance. Nothing is left to improvisation in the room.
Hen weekends with us span Mayfair penthouses, boutique hotels in Marylebone and Soho, country manors across the Cotswolds and Wiltshire, and coastal hideaways along the Dorset and South West coast — Sandbanks, Lulworth, Salcombe and the cliff-top houses around Bournemouth and Poole. We also travel to Bristol, Bath, Brighton and the wider Home Counties, and arrange further routes on request. Where a venue requires liaison — a private chef, a manor housekeeper, a hotel concierge — our office handles the coordination quietly on your behalf.
